Are you looking for a perfect autumn Sunday morning breakfast? Then look no further! This Terry's Chocolate Orange inspired waffle will make your mouth and heart melt.

Makes 2 8" waffles

For this recipe you will need:

1 egg white

1 cup plain or all purpose flour

1tsp baking powder

140ml skimmed milk (or milk alternative)

The juice of one orange (add 1 tsp of zest if you want it to be more orange-y)

3 tsp of low calorie hot chocolate powder

Method:

1) Before you start on your waffle mixture, make sure that you turn on your waffle maker to allow it to heat up (start on a medium heat)!

2) In a bowl, combine the flour, baking power, milk and egg white - this will be the foundation of your recipe.

3) After the mixture is fully combined, add in the orange juice and hot chocolate powder.

4) Your waffle maker should be heated through now, so it's time to spray on some low calorie oil.

5) Spoon half of the waffle mixture onto the bottom plate of the waffle maker (make sure that the mixture is even before closing the lid).

6) Allow to cook through for 2 minutes on medium before turning your heat up for an extra 1-2 minutes to crisp the waffle.

7) Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you run out of mixture.

7) Serve with the toppings of your choice!

Tip: If you cut the waffle into quarters and freeze it in a sandwich bag, you can pop them in the toaster the next day for an easy breakfast!
